For many years I prayed and declared, usually several times per week, “No cancer can ever live in my body and if there is any cancer present it must die and harmlessly pass from my body!” You see, I felt that I was doing everything right! I had prayed for many people and witnessed God healing them. I saw many instant miracles as well as slow healings take place in the lives of others over my many years of ministry. Therefore, I knew that I was a strong candidate for a miracle myself as my faith in God’s healing power was operating near 100 percent!
Yet, I wasn’t healed! At least not in the way that I would have chosen. Nevertheless, God was strongly at work both within me and through the ministrations of others, to bring a far greater healing in my body and ultimately my life.
This is my story, one that I trust will encourage you as well as help you understand the workings of God in your life. Through my walk through my Valley of the Shadow of Death I avoided the pitfalls of destruction that fear, shame and condemnation fashions. My goal is to help you avoid these traps as well.
If you are dealing with a health issue and feel that you have not been healed by God, then I have good news for you. Hopefully you will be able to find that news in this book. After all, He is the Lord who heals us!

About the Author
Larry Silverman and his wife of more than fifty years, Corrine, are senior ministry leaders at New Covenant Grace Fellowship, a dynamic church in Citrus County, Florida. Larry is an avid bass fisherman, and he is also the author of The River Is Here: My Journey into New Covenant Grace, where he chronicles his journey into the life-changing revelations of the new covenant. Silverman holds a master of ministry degree and has also earned postgraduate degrees in counseling and psychology. He currently lives in Hernando, Florida.
