My gramma and I were bakin' a cake.
It was her birthday, her eighty-eighth.
Just what kinda cake should we bake?
That was a decision we just couldn't make.
"So many choices- What should I say?
Just any old flavor would be okay?"
So, Gramma got out her recipe book.
"Come here, sweet girl, let's take a look."
"How about chocolate, vanilla or cherry?
Angel food, carrot or maybe confetti?
Dump cake, poke cake, or upside down?
Bundt cake, sheet cake, square or round?"
"Oh, I've got the answer, yes siree!
Let's create our own recipe."
