Now here's something else the Lord recently revealed to me about strife.
He said, “When it comes to the art of communicating, the most important thing is not so much what a person says, as much as what a person hears. And how a person hears, is all based on an individual's filtering system. This is why Jesus said, take heed or be careful, what you hear. But that's not all. He also warned us, to be careful, how we hear.”
This is why, if your filtering system is negative or twisted, then for the most part, what you hear and see, will be interpreted as something negative or twisted. The opposite is also true. It's pretty much like, two different individuals looking at the same glass of water. You ask them both,” What do you see?” The one with a negative filtering system will say, “I see a glass that's half empty.” However, the person with a positive filtering system will say, “I see a glass that's half full.” Yet, they both see the same glass, but they each interpret it differently.

About the Author
Dr Jason Alvarez In 1961 Jason and his family escaped Cuba and came to the United States.
He later went on to enjoy an amazing music career where as a writer, singer and Producer was responsible for over 24 million records being sold worldwide. Songs like Shame, Shame, Shame, Somewhere In My Lifetime song by Phyllis Hymen and many others.
In 1977 he was gloriously converted and entered into full time ministry in 1982. Dr. Alvarez led Praise and Worship for RW Schambach, Nicky Cruz and later served as a Music Minister with Pastor Dave Demola. Now Dr. Jason Alvarez pastors one of the most dynamic churches in all of the east coast THE LOVE OF JESUS FAMILY CHURCH in Orange, NJ, and oversees churches and ministries around the world.
