Our God is a wondrous, supernatural God who desires to impart His miracle-working power to each one of you. Throughout this book, I will describe my personal experiences with miracles, as well as the ones that He imparted through me for others. Both experiences shaped my relationship with the Lord in a vibrant, exciting journey, which propelled me deeper and deeper into the magnificent heartbeat of God toward me.
Throughout the many decades of getting to know the Lord Jesus, I have discovered that He is truly supernatural. He is always desirous of reaching into our natural world and impacting us
with His supernatural nature. It is His desire that we know Him intimately—His ways and His love.
He has chosen to reveal Himself to me in many varied ways. The most exciting to me have been the miraculous—those times when I actually had the privilege of experiencing the wonder of His Spirit healing or transforming me. He also offers smaller miracles that are
just as supernatural, but we may miss them if we are not looking for them.
In Jesus’s quest for opportunities to uncover Himself to us and reveal the hidden nature of His Spirit, I believe that His main goal
is relationship. He wants us to know Him intimately and be known by Him. Belonging is what our spiritual walk is all about. As Jesus reveals more of His nature to us, and we reciprocate by opening to His Spirit, we become joined in the spiritual realm.
Jesus Christ came to be born on this earth to show us that we are not alone—that there is a spiritual world we can be part of and that we are meant to be part of. When He left this earth He gave
us His Holy Spirit so that we could remain attached to Him and continue to learn of Him.
One more thing that simply stretches my thinking, “As we stay attached to Him, His Spirit gives us the power to perform the same supernatural feats that He performed while on this earth.” That
alone is amazing. But for me, the most amazing experience is the privilege of relationship with the Almighty God, and inside that relationship, the power to be transformed into His image.
Through these pages, you will see the many facets of our Lord
Jesus and the many ways He has of revealing Himself to us and through us. I hope you will see, through my responses to the Lord in the various occurrences, that our response to His Spirit is a vital part of the transformation that Christ wants to bring to us.
In sections I and II, you will get an inside look at the miracles that my family and I experienced. With every touch on my life,
He redeemed me, delivered me, healed me, transformed me, and created in me a hunger for Him that would never die. He loved me until I couldn’t help but love Him back. That is the supernatural.
In these sections, I will also provide you with a look at my character growth because of Him. You will see how my hungry heart kept me open for everything the Lord desired to bless me with and the way His love engaged my heart propelling me to want
more. I believe every action of God is directed toward captivating us with His love. It is love in action. The miraculous experience is pregnant with the possibility of knowing this love in a greater measure.
In section III, using the acronym prepare, I will outline some of the ways you can prepare for what God wants to do in and through you. You will see the ways I needed to align myself with God’s
calling on my life and some of the ways the Holy Spirit used me to perform miracles in others. God’s miracles are still in His hands to release, but you and I are the vessels He may use to complete them.
The epilogue closes my book with one of the most recent, gentle miracles I have experienced and a look at how it uncovered the
depth of God’s graciousness extended to me. It was, indeed, a very loving period at the end of four decades of walking with and serving my Lord.
The experiences that I share are just how they occurred. It may seem like I am lifting up the supernatural above the natural, but
I am aware that God meets us in many varied ways, subtle and miraculous. He is a big God who, I believe, desires for us to know Him in His bigness. If we overlook the miraculous, we are leaving out an important part of the very nature of God. When Jesus came in the flesh, He came to reveal God. One of the ways He did that was through moving in the miraculous:
And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. (Matthew 14:14, NKJV)
Jesus’s intention is very clear. He not only revealed to humanity that He/God possessed the power to miraculously heal and
transform them, but within this experience, they would come to know His love. We then have the power to complete the dynamic experience by returning the love He has given us. Our encounter than accomplishes what God intends all along—to be united with Christ in His love.
My desire is that your heart will begin to hunger for God and, having done so, will continue to increase your appetite for more of the Lord. That is one of my main reasons for writing this book. I want to share with you the “more” of God that I have experienced
to stir your heart and awaken your knowledge that there is more that God has for you.
Whether you have not yet begun your walk with the Lord or have walked with Him for many decades, He still has more for you. In the supernatural realm, there are no limitations and God never tires of giving His graces. This is my prayer and praise. Can you let it be yours?
I will thank the Lord with all my heart as I meet with his godly people. How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in him should ponder them. Everything
he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails. (Psalm 111:1–3, NLT)
