Kalo Heldt is the proud mother of 2 successful daughters. For more than 20 years, as a certified Master Gardener, she enjoyed designing gardens and troubleshooting landscape problems. When her girls presented challenges, she often went to her garden in prayer seeking divine guidance. When she lovingly repotted a root bound plant she realized that it might be time to “repot” her daughters’ boundaries. Over the years her garden revealed many answers to her parenting questions.
A Gardener’s Guide to Parenting is a compilation of those analogies. Kalo continues to garden in Northern California where she lives with her husband.
