Karen T. Stratoti has been a registered nurse licensed in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey for over 40 years. She is also a licensed long-term care administrator, and a certified assisted living administrator. She has worked as a professional nurse and administrator in burn units, intensive care, cardiac care, nursing homes, assisted living, hospice and adult medical day care facilities. She has published a book entitled “Excellence in Caring an Assisted Living Guide to Community Development and Hope”. At the age of 42 she was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis which led to thoracic surgery. At one point after surgery she went into anaphylactic shock and had an out of body experience that led her to a deeper understanding of life and death.
