Someday, someone somewhere will read a book written by me. That someday, that someone, and that somewhere will, I hope, turn into many many somedays, someones, and somewheres. The book you are holding makes you one of those someones. The day you made the choice to read it made this your someday. No matter where you may be along your path, this book, which will take me more than twenty years to finish, is resting in your possession, and that is your somewhere. The obstacles to your someday may look like Angel’s as she finds redemption, meets herself for the first time, and begins to see herself through her Father in heavens’ eyes—not her biological father’s eyes. As you read, do not lose heart. Wherever your somewhere and someday finds you, I believe in you. I am proud of you. Keep pressing on, and walk with Angel. Fight with her, and forgive with her. However this book I will write comes to pass, right now, I have faith in my heart that you will find peace along the way.

About the Book
The Fear of Being Seen is an empowering book to prayerfully reach everyone affected by trauma, suicide, attempted suicide, and desperation. You will walk the journey of a young lady as she finds Christ amidst the mess, finds his amazing love for her, and finds the source of her unshakable faith as she embraces God as her father. This story is based on a true journey of tremendous courage, strength, and redemption while gently introducing how Satan can use our weaknesses in an attempt to keep us from the truth of God’s promises.
You will see, and hopefully feel, as you read the Fear of Being Seen the power of the human heart when true redemption through the Holy Spirit is acknowledged.
About the Author
Dawn Marie Bailey, though a first-time author, has had the passion for writing for as long as she can remember. It’s been burning in her soul since Language Arts classes during her early school days. Dawn has answered the intense calling to tell a story, based on real events, to reach others in need who are searching, who ache to feel the healing hand of God, and to give a source of hope to those indirectly effected by trauma through the pages of this book and by volunteering as a sexual abuse victim advocate in her community.
