It made the earth quake, and the rocks split. It moved heaven and earth, and shook everything that could be shaken. It tore the veil of the temple in two that had kept us out of His holy presence; and the veil over our eyes, minds, and hearts that kept us from seeing who He really was: “Truly this was the Son of God.” (Matthew 27:54)
Meet Jesus - the Kiss that rocked the world!
So what is this rock-star of a Kiss all about? It’s a Kiss on a mission that came from heaven to die and rise for us. Not the kind of kiss you can keep at home behind closed doors. It has people to kiss and places to go. And it will be sadly and badly missed if it doesn’t show. SO MANY people need a Kiss today!
Like a lightning bolt of God’s love striking the earth, opening graves, raising the dead, melting frozen hearts stone-cold with wounds and hurts; igniting the fire of His love in the darkness of the most desolate places, giving birth to revival, renewal, restoration, transformation, miracles, heavenly impartation… Jesus came to earth as a Kiss, the Word of God made flesh, so we could touch, see, feel, hug, and hold His love… (1 John 1:1-2)
He didn’t come to start a religion. No! He was that Kiss on a mission; there is no love in religion. He is the Love that flowed from the heart of the Father, “[who] has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His Love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:13-14 NKJV). His death on the cross was the most dramatic, dynamic, empowering, demon-shattering, revolutionary, loving, life-giving, life-changing event in all of world history.
But what lay behind it was, and still is to many – “a great mystery” – the greatest Romance of all time: Jesus and us, His beloved Bride (Ephesians 5:32). His death was a cleansing from sin, to make us a pure and spotless Bride for Him.
Now we open the Book of the heart of God’s love. Our desire is to unveil this great mystery of His great love for us. And so all are welcome, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. But your experience here (and everywhere!) will be much richer and more meaningful if your spiritual eyes have been opened first to see God’s Kingdom.
So how does this spiritual eye-opening happen? Jesus said: “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God” (John 3:3 NKJV). Nor can he enter in (John 3:5). It means to be born from above – a heavenly rebirth. And this is why Jesus died – so you could be reborn as a new creation in Him! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
You can receive your spiritual rebirth right now, as you humbly bow, turn from your sin, and ask Jesus to come in; receiving His Kiss of forgiveness, the cleansing of His blood, and the wonderful promise of your new life in Him.
