The Bible Crash Course for the Sunday School Dropout

Years ago I would sit in church, listening to the pastor and paying attention to the sermon. The Bible would be quoted. I would understand the lesson, the meaning of the sermon. But I didn’t understand the Bible. “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day” (Psalms 91:5). Hmmm, I would think. I had so many questions. Where is this in the Bible? Where is this in the story? Who said it and when?

Every Sunday I vowed to go home and immediately read the Bible cover to cover. You guessed it. I never did. But I did begin learning and studying the Bible. And if you’re like me, who grew up and never made it to two Sunday school lessons in a row, this book is for you. By the end, you will have a better sense of the chronological order of the Bible, and your Sundays in church will be more valuable because you’ll have a richer understanding of the Bible.

Each chapter of this book will take you through the Bible chronologically. Discussion questions will be at the end of every section.
