About the Book

It is imperative to strive for perfection daily.

For Christian men, that means communicating with God, seeking his will, and being the best man you can be for yourself, your friends, your family, your community, and your church. Author Nathaniel L. Cropp explores how to be a better man spiritually and naturally in 11 Guiding Principles for Men.

This self-help guide can help you move closer to the Lord and teach you how to transform yourself into the man that God wants you to be, develop a new and righteous way of thinking, and living the healthiest, happiest, and most fulfilling life you can.

The Bible shows that success is connected to how you choose to live your life. By looking at his own life and decisions, Cropp shows that it’s possible to dramatically change your life by following eleven guiding principles.

Each chapter includes a meditation guide, focus thoughts, questions, and verses of scripture—the perfect combination to encourage reflection and action. The guidebook is a natural choice for men’s groups, Sunday school lessons, and any man who wants to be better and do more.

About the Author

Nathaniel Lenwood Cropp was born on August 25, 1974, to Isaac and Rose Cropp in Springfield, Illinois. Nathaniel was educated in Georgetown County and furthered his education at the University of South Carolina. Nathaniel developed a love for people from his parents and learned early in life that life is better lived serving others.

In November of 2005, Nathaniel married Lauren M. Gadsden Cropp. In November of 2005, they had their first son, Ethan Asher Cropp. On August 31, 2008, they were blessed with their second child, Lea Noelle Cropp. Nathaniel and Lauren learned two months later that Lea was diagnosed with atrioventricular canal defect (heart disease). On January 7, 2009, Lea passed away a week before open heart surgery scheduled for January 14, 2009, at the Medical University of South Carolina. Two years later, Nathaniel and Lauren were blessed with their third child, Matthew Aden Cropp.

Nathaniel owes his spiritual foundation to his father and mother and his spiritual parents, Bishop Richard S. Johnson and Mother Peggie E. Johnson. Bishop Richard and Peggie Johnson at Cathedral of Faith Ministries nurtured Nathaniel with love, biblical truth, theology, doctrine, and spiritual academia. Nathaniel’s life mission is to work for Jesus Christ and do what he can to bring more people into the knowledge of Jesus Christ so that they will be saved.
