About the Book
His eyesight had always been really bad, and after two special surgeries to help him see better, José still had to wear glasses with really thick lenses. He had been really embarrassed at his last school when kids had picked on him and called him names like “four eyes” and “coke-bottle head.” But since his dad had taken a new job, José and his family moved to a new town. Starting school at Sonoran Elementary could be a brand-new beginning. That was until he saw Harvey, the biggest and meanest javelina at any school he’d ever attended. Now not only was he at a new school but José was going to have to deal with the biggest bully ever.
