About the Author
Amber Sirstad received her Master’s degree in Counseling at Corban University in Salem, Oregon. Her goal is to become a Crisis and Trauma Counselor. From being a part of a divorced family to being diagnosed with a potentially fatal disease, Amber has experienced many ups and downs in her seemingly short life. But through it all, she has held on to the promise that is found in Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you; When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze” (NIV). Amber currently resides in Portland, Oregon. She has produced two instrumental CDs—Hymns That Made a Difference and Music from the Heart. She thoroughly enjoys music and has dedicated her life to glorifying God through the power of music.
