Is-So was always depressed and lonely. Is-So never knew how it felt to have self-confidence or even how powerful Is-So could be. Is-So never wanted to participate in anything, because Is-So thought Is-So had nothing to offer. Is-So looked sad or angry most of the time.
However, Is-So loved music and this was a secret that only Is-So knew. Until one day a new music teacher came to Is-So’s school. The new teacher was a caring, nurturing and most insightful teacher. He had a great drive and desire to teach young children, especially from the ages of three to ten years old.

This book will encourage, uplift, and motivate, children who are insecure, and not confident in their ability to reach their goals and dreams in life.
About the Author
On December 22, 2005, Robert Strother was inspired to write a children’s book entitled “Is-So Discovers Is-So”. This project is the answer to constant prayer and fasting to be able to leave a legacy to his children and to the masses of children around the world. He is also a teacher and has a knack with children. He is concerned about their education, well-being, and what they will become in life.
It has also been a dream of Robert’s to also do a children’s music CD, entitled: “Encourage the Courageous.” This is a CD with a different approach to encourage and uplift all children by providing them with a positive message that will encourage them to become productive citizens, in spite of their backgrounds. This CD is also an accompaniment to this book.
Robert has also been a freelance singer and percussionist, performing with several bands in the Pennsylvania area during the past thirty years. He has also, traveled to Europe and performed with the late Grover Washington Jr.’s band, in 1979 and the early 1980’s.
