About the Author
In 1984, I walked into my 7th grade classroom and began to tell them this story. I had not prepared this story or even thought of it. It just came to me. After I told them the story, I walked back to my desk and watched the clock, and for more than 5 minutes my classroom was silent. It was a powerful moment but was forgotten until 2010 when I remembered the story in a dream and remembered the moment but then forgot it again. A year later the story again came back in a dream, and I woke up and went to my computer and wrote the story. It seemed to me that the Lord gave me this story to tell and it is my hope that it will bless every reader with how big God’s love is!
