Its really Awesome that through the entire movie, The Wizard of Oz, the little girl wants to go home. The scarecrow wants a brain. The Tinman wants a heart. The Lion wants courage. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. When we give our hearts and lives to Jesus, He gives us the power to have courage so we can walk through our journey without fear, a heart towards Him (love), a brain (sound mind/ self control), and a gift of eternal life in heaven (home). The four things they desired are what we need for our journey in this life.

About the Book
A Simple Parable is a book that God gave me pertaining to the famous movie The Wizard of Oz. It has many special meanings hidden that no one may have ever seen. A little girl needing to go home, a scarecrow needing a brain, a tin-man needing a heart, and a lion needing courage on a journey in this new place. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). A Simple Parable has exciting simple truths that we all need for our journey, and I believe it can help you find your purpose in our everyday lives.
About the Author
Patsy Aguirre has worked with children for the past 30 yrs. She is licsended by the state of Texas as a director of a Learning Center and sees her job as a ministry to children. She has read many stories with dramatic excitement able to keep a large group of childrens attention. Her love for the children is very noticeable. She has 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grand child of her own. She knows that a loved and accepted child is a happy child. Teaching children to be happy is her life.
