This Road I Traveled

"I think I'm having a stroke!" On our way to the hospital, all kinds of thoughts run through my head, first how I hate going to the emergency room. Remembering all the times taking Amber again and again all the waiting; I just knew that we would be sitting in the emergency room for hours. When we pull up to the hospital, I feel a lot of pressure around me head. Thankfully the emergency room is not busy at all, I go right back to an exam room. After asking me about what brought me to the emergency room and checking my blood pressure, they do some blood work. When my blood work comes back, two doctors enter my room. They both look at me and tell me my white blood count is high and my palates are at "21", they ask me to remove my pants to see how the veins in my legs look. Taking off my pants I notice that my legs have red dots all over them. 'What's wrong with me?" The emergency room doctor teels me, "Your hemorrhaging somewhere in your body, maybe in your brain." The doctors tell me that if I had not come to the hospital when I did, I probably would have been found dead within hours. After hearing about my condition, I pass out.
