There is a moment in time where time stands still. All that can be heard is the voices of the past running through my mind. The sounds of laughter bring smiles to my soul, the sound of tears as hearts were crushed, and the sounds of little voices saying I love you. Smiling little faces looking at me as they grow up right before my eyes flash through my mind. Moments of regrets, triumphs, sorrow and joy fill my heart. I had to have regrets to know the triumphs and sorrow to know joy. I have made mistakes, and there were so many things I wanted to do and to teach them. I see them struggle as they figure out life. My children are my heart and soul. But, there is a moment in time where it stands still as reflections of the past flow like a sweet lullaby in my mind. Where did the time go? Moments of heartache and fear set in for a while as I see the pain I caused and the disappointments they faced. Oh, if I could change things I would. I never intended to hurt, but there were times I was hurting too. I see their tears on their sweet little faces. There were moments in time I wish I could replace. Oh, that moment in time where it stands still full of those haunting memories. Reflection, conviction, worries, and prayers all have become notes to the melody of life. Oh, that moment in time. If only I could erase, rewind, pause, but no. If I could take that moment in time to change or to relive would I?
There is also a sweet, sweet song that echoes in my mind of the life they brought into my heart, the joy, the laughter we shared. Oh, those are the moments in time that I wish would stay still. I see reflections of myself in them good and bad, for I am their mother. The love I have for my children no words can describe. My heart swells full of pride, joy, and hope as I think of them. My only wish is that they are happy, healthy, and know the love of God, for He loves them more than I could ever imagine or conceive. As I ponder the love I have for my children I question, was there a moment in time that stood still for Him? With tears in my eyes, I know the answer is yes. That moment He hung on the cross for my sins, my children’s sins, your sins, and the sins of all, time stood still because of love, His love for us. The power of love can stop time even just for a moment. A time to reflect, to ponder or just to marvel. There is a moment in time where time stands still. Enjoy the time you have with them and fill it with love and sweet memories.

About the Book
Are you tired of feeling invisible and alone? There are few things worse than hiding behind an invisible mask with a fake smile, feeling unnoticed, unwanted, and desperately hoping that someone would notice the real you. Most of my life I struggled to fit in and to be accepted. I felt invisible and that I didn’t have a voice. Through my journey of finding acceptance and purpose, I wrote my prayers to God in the form of poems and wrote moments that I encountered a lesson learned or a struggle. I needed an outlet, so I wrote. What I didn’t expect was by doing so, I would find healing, acceptance, and love. I came to know of a loving Father who showed me that I wasn’t invisible, but loved by Him and had a purpose. God had a purpose for my tears and put it on my heart to share my journey with others. You deserve to be noticed, cared for, and valued. You are not alone but loved. My prayer is with this book others can and will find comfort and hope as my struggles point them to a Loving God, Savior, and Friend.
About the Author
Growing up Catherine was taught that is was better not to be seen or heard and she spent most of her life hiding behind an invisible mask. She started to pretend to be someone she wasn’t so others would like her. While hiding behind her mask, she desperately wanted someone to notice the real her, to be loved and accepted. Through her journey in finding acceptance, she found God. He seen through the masks and loved her regardless. During her journey of finding out who she is in Christ, she wrote various prayers in forms of poems and wrote some of her encounters where she saw God at work in the life of other through her and in her life. Catherine has worked with the youth at her church for over twelve years, has helped with many Christian retreats, like women, youth, and grown adults. She has spoken at various retreats, mom groups, and women events. Catherine has the heart for the lost and hurting. She runs and organizes girls retreats to help them combat the world’s view of what women should look like, act, and think. She helps the young ladies who attend to find their true identity in Christ. Catherine calls herself an Invisible and her heart’s desire is to help other Invisibles in the world find a relationship with their loving Father in Heaven, to help them take off their Masks and to give them hope. As she says, “Even a glimmer of Hope is still hope.”
