Why do we love? We love because He first loved us. We love. We love Him, we love others, and we love ourselves only because He first loved us. Is there majesty in the glory of God? Yes. Is there intimacy we can have in this glory? Yes. But the most meaningful thing I believe we can take away from communion with God (i.e. beholding His Glory) is His character. Through beholding the beauty that He is, we are changed into the image of the one we love, the one who loves us. We are changed into his image and His love pours forth to the world, and this is how people will know we are His, and that He lives in us.

What is Altars about? It is about sacrifice and suffering! It is about the refining fire of God and the way He tempers us to be used as a tool in the Creators hand! It is about waves of God’s grace and the true meaning of Glory! This book uses the Authors real life experiences along with a goodly amount of scripture and revelation from God, to show just how God uses the hardship of this life to draw us into a deeper relationship with Himself, to understand how to become malleable in the makers hand, and how through these hardships He molds us into His image of His Son!
About the Author
Don A. Taylor, he has no title such as Pastor or reverend, He has no theology degree. He is simply a follower of Jesus and together with his wife have learned some things that he would like to pass on to others to help them on their journey. Don resides in Columbus, Wi with his wife Katherine. Sometimes God uses a fisherman!
