These songs can be used for any church occasion such as: Mass, celebrations, funerals or traditional Sunday morning worship. This music can be sung by large choirs, ensembles, or praise teams. There are solo pieces as well. They have been tried and proven to be very refreshing; they reflect the presence of God. These are songs that will bring tears to your eyes and uplift your spirit and soul. A favorite piece, “Stop By Lord, Stop By,” has captured the hearts of all ages. It is just one of many easy songs included in this work.
About the Author
Doris Wesley-Bettis, a native of Mobile, Alabama, was born in Monroeville, Alabama.
She has been married to her God-sent musician, Mr. Richard T. Bettis for twenty years. She is the mother of five, and the grandmother of seven. Mrs. Bettis has an ear to the voice of God. She is not a musician, but has been gifted to write for some fifty years. She takes every song very serious, by either putting them down on voice recorder or paper. Her music is sung all over the world, including: Israel, The Philippines, Bintaro, South America, Italy, and across these United States. She was recognized as one of five significant black women by Dr. Marion E. Dolan of the IFCM Multicultural & Ethnic Commission (2005).
