Into the Light of Jesus

Lord, I know how much you love me; and how you accept me for who I am, and who I will become according to your master plan. Oh Lord, you have been so good to me and always placed a hedge of protection around me. Lord, forgive me for not acknowledging your protection, unconditional love and presence. For those years when I was in the dark, I couldn't fully comprehend why no man could love me enough to stay. In those times, I felt abandoned, neglected, rejected, unloved, unaccepted and unworthy of love. I felt so alone and believed I was alone. I was broken for so long; and every time, my temple continued to be broken in small fragments with feelings of unworthiness. I found myself in the darkest pit. It was gloomy, foggy and the darkest pit that I ever experienced it to be that is, cold, lonely and unloved. It was a moment in time where I felt hopelessness and despair. And, that pit kept getting darker and deeper and more so lonely. I called out to my Lord in desperation, crying out to help me. I found no purpose to live anymore. My body, heart and mind was exhausted of rejection and abandonment. Then, the light started to peek within this dark hole I was in . I heard a voice speak to me. It was my Lord who called me out by my name, and how much He loved me. He reassured me that I was not alone, and not to be afraid. He found me in that dark hole. He shined His beam of light into my darkened and teary eyes. He embraced me with His love. He wrapped me with His grace, mercy and forgiveness. In this broken world, I, too, was broken. I felt unrepairable, unfixed, and never being able to change. I was seeking for love, happiness, provision and acceptance. Somehow, I was unable to receive it from the men in my life because I thought I needed a man to complete me.
