The amazing truth about the birth of Jesus is still unfolding in the minds of many unbelievers, as well as some believers. Although it took place over two thousand years ago, it is still a mystery to some human comprehension. There were areas of the special birth that was still a puzzle to me until the Holy Spirit took me to the Old Testament of Acts and placed fixed my eyes on Acts 1:2, and this revelation happened in a very unusual way. I was in deep thoughts about the birth of Jesus. I had my bible opened to Matthew, and because I have been writing this book for over two years I was in no hurry to finish it; or maybe it is because I was not fully prepared, I need more materials, revelation, or direction. But my mind was fastened on the place where Jesus was born, and the witnesses in the delivery room. For some reason I could not get it out of my mind that something else happened in that stable, during the delivery. I went through Matthew 1st and the 18th chapter, and found nothing about what I was looking for, and my mind stuck on the animals. And my mind said:yes, the animals knew something, but what? And they are not talking. Four O clock the next morning, I was back on the path of my concordance bible, and could not get the animals out of my mind. Then I remembered the encounter with Balaam and the ass. (Numbers 22:30) Just as I was about to turn to the book of Numbers, something strange happened. My security alarm that had not work for six years went off. So frightened, I ran to the turn off button and caught my self: this thing has not worked in six years, why all of a sudden it went off? My heart was pounding, my head throbbing and I was sweating. I stood in from of the disabled alarm and ask the Lord what was going on? Without an answer I strolled back to the kitchen table where I was studying from 3am that morning. Another wave of fright overwhelmed me; why is the bible page jumped from Matthew to Acts? And my eyes locked on Acts 1:7-8? Nervously, I tried to read the two verses which stood out like giant rocks challenging my bulged out eyes.
And He said unto them: 'it is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own Power; but you shall receive Power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me, both into Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.'
I have learnt that revelation will come in God's own time, also when I am capable of handling what He has revealed to me. Many times, as children of the Heavenly Father many of us wants to go before the Cross. I was trying to satisfy my curiosity, and sometimes my wandering mind still flirt around God's business; but when I remembered that encounter I quickly erased the thoughts. My relationship with my Savior has gotten much closer, because of that encounter. I have had many more revelations but not out of curiosity. I learned to lean on Him for guidance and direction, through faith, trust, and humility.
When we are confronted with situations like that terrible drought that the Occupants of Land of the Giving and Taking were experiencing; it is time to have some talk with the Creator. Father Christmas and Stareye were entwined for a purpose. We are God's Creation; members of His Body and when one part is torn down the whole body is affected, and that is why it is so important for us to commune with Him as He teaches. Stareye knew many things but could not say much until the appointed time or it was revealed to him. So it should be with us; wait upon the Lord as He prepared us for the journey that would bring him glory and honor. When Father Christmas brought newness to the Occupants they were very upset as they were looking for the same old familiar favors, and when he took out the scroll and read from it they were about to attack him. Only the children could see the newness because it was already revealed to them. When the Lamb and the Donkey were conversing about who is the greatest in the Kingdom, they knew they both had to be responsible because they were chosen by God.
