Reconciliation of Jacob and Esau
This had to be one of the most uncomfortable reconciliations of two brothers... ever. Years before Esau had traded his birthright for some stew and Jacob received his father's blessing through deception.
Can you imagine the fear Jacob must have experienced before this reunion with his brother? Four hundred men came with Esau and I’m sure they were ready for battle. Not that this was Esau’s intentions but he had already been deceived by his brothers. To Jacob’s surprise, when they were close enough to recognize each other, Esau ran to Jacob with nothing but forgiveness in mind. I know it must have been a fantastic reunion party that night...and I bet they didn't serve stew.

About the Author
L. Art Slatten has fifty plus years of experience in oil painting, stained glass, screen printing and served as Fine Arts and graphic design instructor for high school and college. His Biblical studies began at a young age being the son of a minister and has led to limited missionary work over the past twenty years. He is presently serving as a 3D designer and, you guessed it, a cartoonist.
