This contains her collated stories of her musings and unwavering faith in GOD during the critical days of her dear beloved mother who died just more than a year ago. It is a book of FAITH and ACCEPTANCE, asking God to give her “serenity”- peace of mind, heart & soul, to just accept the things that has already happened and having the courage to change the things she can still change, and to still start dreaming again with GOD’S HELP and GUIDANCE despite all the loneliness, emptiness she had felt before.
FINDING SERENITY IN PRAYER also contains a lot of the author’s personal prayers during the times she feels at a lost, in deep sorrow and confused which road to take during her life’s journey. These prayers and personal life stories were paired with selected biblical verses from New King James Version (NKJV), God’s words which provided the author strength, courage, a stronghold in God, believing that she will still be able to stand –up again from all her sorrows with God’s grace, mercy and unfailing love.
For the author, prayers are our “love letters” to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER and that prayer is a sign of our deep faith in God, that we still have these hopes in our hearts with the help of GOD.
Finding Serenity in Prayers also contains life-changing “true to life” events about God’s unfailing love, comfort, direction, saving grace, revelation of His words, showing different ways on how God can send His answers, guidance, and message to us through events in our day to day living, through people, and sometimes even through strangers- our “angels in disguise.”
If theirs is only one message that the author wants to share in this book, this could be:
“To walk by Faith with GOD no matter what, to trust Him fully.”
Whatever suffering we are facing at the present time cannot be compared with the GLORY that is going to be revealed to us. Have Faith. Pray. Trust in God's perfect timing. Persevere to win the crown of life God has promised to those who love Him.
Prayer is our love letter to God. Prayer is very powerful. God is always in us. God doesn't slumber, He doesn’t sleep 24/7. Just call on God and He will be right there to save you.
Pray unceasingly.

About the Book
Through this book, the author would like to share how powerful prayers are, how God answers prayers, told from the author’s own experience, and how God can pull us out from emptiness, darkness, and sadness to complete joy. For a prayer to be effective, we just have to be simply true to God when we pray. Speak your heart out. Cry if you think you feel like crying. Or even burst out into a cry. Just say a heartfelt, soulful, sincere prayer.
Also together in this book are God’s stories of His amazing power, unconditional love, forgiveness, mercy, saving grace, healing, awesome miracles, and provision that helped me strengthen my trust, hope, faith, and love to our heavenly Father.

About the Author
MYRA DELA ROSA known to her friends as Mye or Nomay is a gentle and kind hearted woman. She is very caring and compassionate. She is a woman of great faith, hope and determination as you can see in her works. Her poems and writings show that she has established a close relationship with our Creator, Lord and Savior. She is a great friend, generous sister, loving daughter, and caring and nurturing aunt. She is a pediatrician by profession and everyone believes that her chosen career is a perfect fit for her because of her compassionate nature. She is a great soul writer as she sees things with her heart, speaks gentle truths, and writes with her soul.
