A burden to want to please and be accepted can hinder progress. Always biting off more than one can chew, is a means to prove something to ourselves and others. Taking on more than one can handle in terms of time and energy can be due to an impending deadline. The motivation behind overworking our bodies has to do with either not knowing how to manage our time, or the desire to score brownie points for a certain reward. Eventually we miss out on enjoying the present because of the rush and fail to seek out help when we really need it.

About the Book
Too many people struggle with self worth in their homes, at work, and surroundings. They can’t seem to do enough to feel appreciated, or acknowledged in the efforts they have put daily, for a long time. They are frustrated with their performance, their looks, their relationships and ultimately God who created them. They can’t seem to figure out what really matters in life, why they feel like they miss the mark and what they can do to be content. “You’re Up” puts any one in the daily spot light regardless of the short falls in their abilities, achievements, or station in life, giving chance after chance to get it right, for an enduring glory.
About the Author
Eileen Mwanyiky is first-time writer living in Massachusetts. She is a registered dental hygienist and is married with two precious children. She continues to attend church, where she has received instruction and guidance in the Scriptures.
