Sometimes God does a shift and turns your whole world upside down. You might wonder why are all these things happening to me? His plan is divine and is better than the plans we make for ourselves. God wants us to accept the shift and do not fight it. God controls everything in the world, even the small things. Man may think he is in control but the only one in control is God. It may seem like a roller coaster ride but God is still in control. Give him all your concerns and let him control your situations. He is a good God and can be trusted with all of your life. God’s plans are to give you hope. He does not want to harm you. Find Adventure in the midst of the shift. The shift may appear to be harmful to the human eye and mind but when given to God he turns bad shifts into good shifts. The adventure is during the shift.
Prayer: Lord, bring the shift in my life, shift my eyes off of the world and into your spirt realm. Show me your plans for my life.

About the Book
Adventures with Jesus is a series of short devotions that God used on a daily basis to encourage the author Hollie as well as other women in her life. These scriptures and devotions were answers God had given to questions and prayers that Hollie encountered during times of distress or happiness. Everyone experiences these adventures during times in his or her life and God uses it to develop character and hope from within.
About the Author
Hollie is a wife and mother of two wonderful boys. She and her husband have been married for twenty years. She owns a business teaching baton twirling to young girls. This business has been much more than just teaching baton twirling—it has been teaching young girls how to follow Christ. Currently Hollie and her husband are junior high directors at their local church in Alabama.
