There was a spiritual void inside of me that I tried to fill with alcohol and men. I have since learned that God is the only person I could trust—who wouldn’t forsake me. He filled me up spiritually and still does. When I found Jesus and gave up my immoral lifestyle, I knew that I was worth something. If Jesus loved me, I was exceptional and deserved a special person who would treat me well.
