I am “smart” in different ways! Knowing my “smarts” superpowers!
Each of us has a different brain. Some are very different, yet some are almost the same. Our brains take in information through seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and feeling. Yes- all of the six senses you may know. All of these senses give us unique ways to take information and store it into different parts of our brain. Your brain, body, and personality give you your “smarts.”
You and your friends can be “smart” in different ways. These are like superpowers which allow you to learn as much as you can. Your brain becomes stronger when you use your unique smarts. When you use the correct tools and strategies to strengthen your powers, you can learn more and continue to soar! Yes. I included a rhyme for your “music smarts” and “word smarts.”

About the Author
Dr. Jacqueline D. Garcia has employed Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences as pathways to reach diverse learners in her classroom. Building a classroom climate which promotes learning differences through brain-based research is an overarching principle of her instructional practices. She is continually grateful for her wonderful students.
Jacqueline resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her husband-Dave, and three children-David, Bella, and Livvy.
This book is dedicated to my late mother, Phyllis A. Daino, as she was my biggest supporter. She is missed and will always be remembered.
