Pluto turned silently through the darkness. Earth was just a tiny ball in the distance; he had barely even noticed it. He had noticed the Sun though. He would stare at it in wonder every day, it was the brightest and most beautiful star he could see. Pluto wished so much that he could meet the star and share its light. He was so far away; he knew it could not even see him buried in the darkness.

Kate is a lawyer whose career was interrupted by an aspiring princess and an exuberant redhead. She wonders what life would be like if she were an astronaut. She grew up on the beautiful island of Tasmania where the stars were brighter and the moon much closer.
