From the Introduction --God’s majestic creation is on display for all to see. I am privileged to capture these images. From beautiful sunrises to glorious sunsets, from the threatening of storm clouds to the mysteries of space, these photos reflect a snapshot in time. Gone forever is that exact moment of specific whirling colors, detailed contrasts and beams of light. I stand in awe each day, wondering what sights I will behold. God’s incredible wonders reflect an even greater reality; that we live in an unfolding story. It is a story filled with miracles and majesty, darkness and despair. It is a story in which the ending is known, yet the details of how we arrive are obscured. It is a story of Good versus Evil. It is a story of Love conquering all while tempered with righteousness and holiness. It is a story of fall and redemption, of sacrifice and victory. About the Book
Transcendental Fire combines God’s Word through Scripture with photographs of God’s majestic creation. There is continuity between Old and New Testaments, and sacred texts from both books highlight photographs of the natural world, including sunsets, sunrises, clouds, and a beautiful eclipse of the moon. This book brings the Word of God to the reader and in turn the reader closer to God as Scripture is set to wonder, and Creation is revealed.
About the Author
Kimbra Fishel is a professor of international politics at American Military University. A scientifically inclined former atheist, she converted to Christianity after God’s truth was revealed to her through Word and Spirit. She felt a particular calling to showcase God’s majestic natural wonders through her newly discovered gift of photography. She lives in Blanchard, Oklahoma, with her family on a small ranch under some of the most beautiful skies imaginable!
