,p>He gazed upon Carly as she stared up at him. A petite lovely woman who concealed her age most surprisingly.
"Did you say you'll come back after breakfast?"
"I did." She smiled.
"Not a good idea. As it happens, the shop gets awfully crowded after breakfast."
"Oh, that's okay." She confirmed.
"Oh, no it's not. Once the customers are in the shop, I won't have the opportunity to offer you a cup of coffee. At least permit me that privilege, for showing up so early. I'll leave the shop door unlocked, and I'll even throw in a fresh bowl of fruit. What do you say, join me for breakfast?"
She wasn't at all frightened with this fine looking stranger. As a matter of fact, she felt quite safe.
"I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'll take you up on your offer, if you wouldn't mind making that a cup of herb tea, instead of coffee. That is if it's not an inconvenience."
"Not at all." He agreed contentedly with a broad smile, which lit up his whole countenance. #
The country shop presented a warm welcoming ambience. The shelves were well stocked with the most exquisite country decor for the home. The furniture itself was exclusively unique. There was a section with lovely country dresses, handbags and so much more. Carly could hardly wait to browse through the entire store, as this was only a fraction of it that she could see for the moment. She followed Mr. Sparrow as he led her to the far left side of the shop where they stopped in front of a door.
#When Mr. Sparrow unlocked the door and opened it, Carly immediately stepped back in surprise.
"Oh, my! This is your office? It looks more like your home." She said.
"It is. We added it to the shop a couple of years ago. My idea." He said, indicating to her that the door would remain opened.
Carly was leery, at first, being alone in a house with her new friend, Jonathan, until she found he was harmless. However, she didn't think twice to question this stranger whom she had just met, and who had invited her into his apartment for breakfast. How absolutely unlike her...

Moving upstate New York seem to be a good choice for widow, and grandmother, Carly Gannon, when a situation presented itself, which included her new friend Jonathan, and which she could not have resolved at that particular moment, she decided upon a getaway weekend, to a Bed and Breakfast in New Jersey, hoping to find a solution before heading back home, but than, out of the clear blue sky, she experiences another conflicting dilemma, after she meets Gable, the gift shop’s proprietor, whose elder sister, Victoria, manager of the Inn, is informed of their close relationship, disapproves, and takes it upon herself to separate them. Will all the adversity Carly encounters unfold into a happy ending?
