This may be the last chance
To slow the current course to a dead halt and then begin a reversal
will require a leader at the helm with the determination, will,
and especially the vision, to guide the current governmental
machine in a new direction. Our current situation has radically
devolved from what was the original intent of our nation’s founding
fathers. Only radical change will succeed in returning the United
States to the system originally created by the penning of our U.S.
Constitution. Serious alterations must be made if we are to witness
our government ceasing to function as the obstruction of freedom
loving citizens and again becoming the facilitator for serving the
interests of the individuals that bond together as a nation.
No other candidate will propose the radical changes that are
necessary. All candidates will again proclaim that they are to
be the agents of change that will benefit the country. Some will
strive to identify themselves as “conservatives” who want less
government. They will talk of reduced spending and budget cuts
and fewer government programs. In reality, they are like all of their
conservative predecessors who left the country with a bigger and
more powerful government at the end of their terms of service
than what they had assumed at the beginning of their tenure. Over
the past decades, they have done little in terms of implementing
real change that alters the course of our nation. They skirt the
issues that require bold and courageous action to confront those
extremely powerful special interest groups and political forces that
are taking us down this destructive spiral.
The opponents of those proclaiming to be conservatives, let’s call
them “progressives”, will insist that government must continue
to assume increasing responsibility for taking care of the people.
They will refuse to implement policies and rules that require
our citizens to be accountable and productive in pursuing their
dreams and hopes for a more prosperous life. In reality, this means
positioning the population to have an increased dependency on the
government rather than individual acceptance and obtainment of
responsibility for their own destiny. In other words: enslavement.
In both cases, conservative or progressive, change will be
advocated. In reality, no real substantive change will be achieved
by either in terms of progress and improvement to our way of
life. Government influence, power, and control will continue to
be presented as the means for the people of the country to have
a better life when in reality it injects increased governmental
control, bureaucracy, and intrusion into our personal and private
way of life.
Who Can Make A Difference?
The way our American political system is arranged, U.S. Senators,
Representatives in the House and Judges sitting in a position in
the Judicial Branch are all participants in being agents of change.
However, it is the President of The United States of America
who is in the position of leading the government and is in the
position with the most influence on directing the path our nation
will pursue.
We have always acknowledged and witnessed this leadership
aspect of the Presidency regardless of whether the President has
led in the direction we preferred or not. It is undeniable that all
Presidents lead us down one path or another. That being the
case, the next election for President will be of exceedingly great
importance in deciding whether our country will continue on its
current course of declination or if it will take a reverse course and
do an about face on an elevated path to strength and prosperity.
When I am running for President I will be the only candidate
advocating the true change that is needed in order for us, the
people, to regain control of our government. The methods of
achieving the changes that are necessary are described in the
following pages of this book. Read on to discover the position of
this candidate on specific issues and then make your decision with
this thought in mind:
What will most likely result in our nation again becoming
great - the promises of the other candidates, even if
fulfilled, or the fulfilled promises of Rick Kuter?
