DAY 1
He Knows You and Loves You
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created things, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8: 38-39
How reassuring to know nothing will ever separate us from God’s love. God knows everything about you. He knows everything you say, think, feel and do. And He loves you anyway. There is nothing you can hide from Him. He knows all, and He hears all, and He still loves you. He knows your successes and your failures, your strengths and your weaknesses, and your joys and your sorrows. Throughout everything He is always by your side to tell you He loves you. This is all possible because, just as the scripture says, “nothing can ever separate you from God’s love.” God knows all us and His love is eternally with us. No matter where we go, God is already there.
“O’ Lord, You have seen me and known me, You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thoughts afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it.
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into Heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me. If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me.” Indeed the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You.” Psalms 139:1-12 There is no place where we can go that God is not already there with His love surrounding us. Under His mighty wings He protects us from all harm. When danger comes our way, God is with us. Even through troubling times He is at our side. He listens ever so intently to hear us call to Him. He swiftly brings us to safety as we place complete trust in Him.
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; you stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.” Psalm 138:7
How blessed we are to have a god who we can call upon and He answers. There are no other gods who intervene on behalf of those who call on them. Our God is alive and active in our lives. If we listen to Him and follow His plan our security is established according to His promises. “But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil.” Proverbs 1:33.
It is wise to learn of the God who loves us so much that He gave His only Son as a sacrifice for our sins. As human beings it is hard for us to wrap our mind around the greatness and power in such love. We cannot understand the depth of that kind of love. But, how blessed we are to be loved with a love that goes beyond description. God lavishes His overwhelming love on us even though He knows every detail of our life. Despite all our failures and imperfections, God still loves us. And if we have repented of our sins, He sees us as righteous.
We give praise to God for His love endures forever! Oh, what a merciful God who dwells among us and lives in us! Our God loves us no matter where we have been or what we have done. His mercy is new to us every morning. What a compassionate and faithful God we serve! Praise be to God our Father who knows all of our faults and He loves us anyway!
“Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised...” Psalm 28:1
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 Heavenly Father,
I praise You for Your love. Thank You for dwelling in my heart and for delivering me from harm. You know everything about me and yet You still love me. Thank You for a love that does not waver nor does it shun me because of the wrong things I have done. I choose to love You because You first loved me and You forgive all my sins through Jesus Christ. I am truly blessed that nothing can ever separate me from Your love. Thank You that Your love is ever present. You have established me securely with Your everlasting love. What an honor to call You my Lord!
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
“The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.” Psalms 34: 7-8
“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and have a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:18 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.” John 15:9-10
