The Prophetic studies in this book came to fruition due to the following motivations and according to the stated criteria.
I had long desired to express my beliefs on this vast subject in writing, and in doing so, to express them with some detail for clarity and yet as succinctly as possible. I have always been a ‘put thoughts on paper’ person and thus, here are my thoughts, on paper.
By putting thoughts on paper, such always has helped me to review these thoughts and has usually led to the revising of my thoughts (adding to, deleting, changing) so as to improve upon the manner of expression and sometimes to correct theological errors as well.
Through expressing views on paper, it seems to have always brought additional questions and thoughts to mind, and thus the opportunity to expand upon earlier concepts and to ‘perfect’ some of the concepts in the future.
Placing thoughts on paper always has assisted me in my own understanding of a subject. As a memory prodder, it has helped me clarify my thoughts.
It was my desire that the present subject(s) be placed on paper in order to (a) clarify my own beliefs but also to (b) explain these beliefs to others.

About the Author
Larry Phillip Russell, native of Tuscumbia, Ala, saved at age 17, received Th.M. in 1976 from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Phil has served a variety of churches as pastor and staff member in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
