Sweeping Out The Demons

DAY 1 – THE GAME OF YOUR LIFE!

Welcome back to The Game of Your Life! This is Gabriel Angel with the play by play of today´s contest between the Church of the Living God versus Satan Beelzebub and his Unholy Demons.

It has been a rather exciting day with the Church battling the forces of evil in spiritual warfare...I love this game! It is FANtastic! These guys sure do know how to fight. Today we have witnessed the league championship, with the winner gaining first place in the control of your heart, soul, mind and strength. But in these closing moments it looks like Satan and the D´s have just been outplayed and basically...oh how can I put it...TROUNCED! Ever since the Old Testament season these people of God have shown some impressive moves. Then last year during the New Testament season, the Church led by Coach Jesus has just outclassed Satan and his band of fallen angels.

Having not scored a single point, Satan and company continue a scrappy strategy of resistance and retaliation, focusing on surprise attacks and deception. But now with just ten seconds remaining it´s the Church of the Lord Jesus 10000000000000000, to Satan´s Demons´ disappointing zero. So yes, it looks like a shutout today and a grand celebration coming up for God´s Church. Let´s listen in as the home crowd counts this one down in their own inimitable style, “John 10:10, 1Corinthians 9:27, Romans 8:28, Matthew 7:7, Luke 6:38, Romans 5:8, John 4:14, John 3:16, 2Timothy 2:15, 1John 1:9”...and that´s the game folks.

But wait! There is a commotion down on the field. Satan and his team are continuing to set up for the next play. And there is the referee, informing Coach Beelzebub that it´s over. What is Satan saying to the ref? Folks we are going down to Michael Archangel down on the field to learn more about what is going on.

“Michael, what´s happening down there?”

“Gabriel, it looks like Coach Satan and his demon team is refusing to leave the field or admit defeat. And look! He´s having some of the demon players block all exits so that no one can leave. Let´s listen in on the conversation if I can get close enough.”

“No, as Coach Satan prince of this world, I am telling you that it´s not over until I say it´s over! After all, I am Satan, God´s best prospect for stardom until he fired me for being honest. I told Him that I am better than Him and deserve His job. Everyone knows that I should be God. But He did not agree, Noooo! So here we are after a long 4 thousand year season and He still just doesn´t get it. I will battle until I win, and will do whatever it takes.”

“Gabe, the referee is just staring at him in disbelief. Wait! By the bright blinding light from above the stadium, here comes Commissioner Yahweh to intercede. Let´s hear what He has to say.”

"I AM the Lord thy God, Creator of the universe and all that is within it, including you, Satan! I AM here to break some news to you. You were defeated since the beginning, and the final blow came at mid-season after my Son Jesus went all the way against you...to the cross He went, you fallen outcast angel of darkness! He finished you off three days later, rising from the dead to defeat you secret weapon, the fear of death. Why, you know as well as anyone what it says in my Word, over in Hebrews 2:14, 15, now don´t you?

When He told all that He is the Resurrection and the Life, as John recorded in his gospel, in chapter 11, verse 25, you knew very well that the resurrection victory pretty well did you in, did you not? At His ascension He commissioned an army of saints called my Church. I then filled them with power through my own Spirit a few days later.

Oh, they have faltered through the years but always returned to me to honor and to glorify my name. That army has shown you her secret weapon today: effectual, fervent prayer and a loving knowledge and application of my rule book for faith and practice..yes Father of Lies; I AM talking about my Word, the Holy Bible. They read it and study it. They meditate upon my Word, waiting for me to speak to them about it while they are reading. Some even memorize it, hiding it in their hearts, so that they can apply it to the game of life each day, just as they did so well today! So Fallen Angel of Darkness, what do you have to say for yourself as you refuse to admit the victory that has occurred today by my followers as led by my Son Jesus and our powerful Holy Spirit?"

“Michael, what is Coach Satan saying to the Commissioner?”

“Well, Gabe, I´m waiting to hear just like everyone in this stadium. I mean, how in the world will he answer such a complete and perfect response as Commissioner YAHWEH issued just now? Let´s listen in...”

“Esteemed former LEADER let me tell YOU something. As Satan Beelzebub, Prince of Darkness...THE Devil, I submit to you what some baseball player said years ago: IT AIN´T OVER ´TIL IT´S OVER! In your so called Word, there are conditions for the end, are there not? You have indicated that certain events will occur around the world before my time comes. Until that time I will continue to do everything that you THINK that you are permitting me to do to test, tempt, thwart, frustrate, interfere and otherwise mess with the heads of Coach Jesus´ players.

Oh, maybe, just MAYBE you are stronger than me, YAHWEH...I´m not saying you are, mind you. If you ARE omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, even though I may not be, I will still roam around like a roaring lion to just see how many of your team members and potential prospects I can discourage, depress and defeat. I will use my team as well. When you unjustly kicked us off the team so many years before these players were even created, I recruited my angels to be here to help me out with some pretty impressive tactics.

For those who have not yet joined this so-called Team Jesus, I have and will be tormenting them and pulling their moral and ethical standards WAY DOWN!
