Or...were you loving Me out of love?

With Me
But it won’t be like now
Right now...

For moments at a time throughout the day
Just to be alone in My presence
I love the way you take pleasure in Me -
When there’s no one around
You’d rather be closed off with Me
By yourself -
Rather than be in a sanctuary...
Filled with people
I love the way you search -
For melodies to set the tone -
Welcoming My presence
You talk to Me about everything
(I’ve waited so long for that)

About the Author
Charlotte R. Beard is a contributing writer for North St. Louis County’s Community Voices, writes on a continual basis in the form of custom greeting cards, and has her own blog spot on Google—Inspiration for Daily Living. A member of the Missouri Writers Guild, her inspirational writing has also been featured in The St. Louis American Journal.
