Cowering in the depths of a cave, craggy cliff, old mountaintop monastery, castle, or any other disrepaired thing upon the heights in which a shadow may lurk, the fear dragon makes its abode. Dark as polished obsidian, with eyes like burning embers, the fear dragon waits. It`s wings are big and angled sharply to help it with a swift and silent flight. Any dragon never stops growing, always getting too big for its intended prey to fight back. Armed with a deadly, almost invisible gas, the fear dragon breathes it over its enemies, which paralyzes them with fright once breathed in. When angered, the fear dragon emits a roar of sound so loud it has been likened to a thunderclap. The sound is very often accompanied by a bolt of yellowish lightening. A fearsome foe, the dragon is a match for anyone and everyone. Yet three things frighten a fear dragon. The first one is silver. All dragons fear silver, because it is poison to them and reflects the light, while to us, in small amounts it is health. Second, the dragon fears courage. Third, the dragon fears the light, either spiritual or physical.
--I modeled the fear dragon to be swift, silent, big, and dark. Because isn`t that what fear is? One minute you are perfectly fine, then you hear one noise, or notice the silence, or see something, and suddenly it is as if you have come face-to-face with a terrifying dragon. However, a light in darkness, a weapon of defense, or a companion can chase your fear (or dragon) away. The wonderful thing about God is that He is a friend, He is the Word, and the Word is a light to your path and a fearsome sword. No fear can overtake you when your confidence is in the Lord. ‘For if God is for me, who can be against me?’
