Thinking about Jesus

Throughout the history of mankind who has ever done what Jesus Christ did? Who else has ever raised people from being dead, cured people of all types of diseases and raised himself from the grave?

What other person in the history of mankind ever had his birth foretold by prophets hundreds of years before his birth? Who else ever had kings follow a star to the place of his birth and give him gifts of gold, myhr and frankencense?

Isn't it true that throughout the world there are more pictures and images of Jesus than anyone who has ever existed? Isn't it true that today he has well over 2 billion followers and that Christianity is the fastest growing faith in Asia and Africa?

Isn't it true that there are more Christian churches in the world than any other type of house of worship? Has anyone in the history of mankind ever come close to affecting the life of man here on earth more than Jesus?

If you were God, how would you reach out to your children to teach them the way to Heaven? Would you have come to earth at the appropriate time when mankind could understand and record your presence and have taught people the Way to eternal life? How would you have done it?

Would you have come as a child and taught people only love? Would you have been kind and merciful even on to death? Would you have taught people in a way that they could understand, and would you have performed miracles to help people understand the love of God?

Would you have offered your body as a perfect sacrifice to forgive the sins of mankind and bring them into communion with you? Would you have left mankind with your spirit here on earth to allow them to live life by accepting you more fully?

Throughout the history of mankind no one has ever done or said the things that Jesus did. He made it very clear to everyone that he was the Son of God, and did all of the things necessary to prove it.

Then why today are not all people Christian's? Because God gave each of us a free will. It is up to each of us to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord by personal invitation.

He is standing at the door of each of our hearts and lives and knocking. But it is up to each of us to accept him or not. Like any father, God wants us to accept him out of love.

Jesus told his Disciples that it was important that he die on the cross and leave this earth so that the Holy Spirit could come and be with each of us. Jesus made it clear the the Holy Spirit would be his spirit here on earth in the heart and life of all believers until he returns.

Jesus gave his Disciples the Great Commission to go to all of the ends of the earth and teach all people what he taught them. That Great Commission has not yet been fulfilled here on earth, and perhaps that is why Jesus has not returned.

Accepting Jesus is accepting God's will for each of our lives. accepting Jesus is accepting God's gift of love in each of our lives. Accepting Jesus is realizing that God came to earth to shed his blood so that each of us could be brought into communion with him.

I do not believe that there can ever be peace ere on earth till everyone has accepted Jesus. Mankind has invented religions throughout history in a attempt to find God. God came to earth in the form of his Son to find man and teach him the Way.

The fact that there can only be one Way to God is as simple as the fact the the shortest distance between to points is a straight line. Of course, because of free will, mankind can attempt many other paths. But why should anyone do that if they really think about Jesus?

I practiced law for five years. Facts and evidence are the basis of making legal decisions. There are more facts and evidence supporting the fact that Jesus was the Son of God than there are facts and evidence supporting anything on this earth.

Isn't it about time that mankind stopped searching for the truth? Jesus made it clear that: "I am the Way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father expect by me!"

Either Jesus was the Son of God, or he was a mad man. Think about this fact. Jesus left us with no other choice!

But it's up to you! Do you want to experience communion with God on this earth? Then, you need to accept his Son as your Savior and Lord. you need to accept God's sacrifice on this earth so that you can truly experience his plan for your life.

As Jesus said: "I am come that they may have life and have it more abundantly!' Do you want to live with God daily? Then accept his Son!
