Well, that was all I needed to help me see, that I still had to find the “greater” in me.
There must be something that makes me stand out.
Something that would make people shout!
“WOW! That kid is really S-P-E-C-I-A-L!!!”
I loved to sing, but everyone agreed, it wasn’t my thing.
I loved to run, but wasn’t very fast. As a matter of fact, I finished last.
But I had to find the “greater” in me.

About the Book
This is the story of a little girl on a mission to discover what makes her special.
After her parents’ divorce, she feels a little lost and empty. She tries lots of things to make herself feel better inside, but nothing works. Then one day, she realizes it’s not what she does, it’s who she is that makes her special. She discovers she is a unique, loved child of God—and so are you!
About the Author
Lori A. Wilson is an Emmy Award-winning anchor & reporter who has worked in five different television markets. Lori began her career in TV doing commercials in elementary school. She is passionate about working in the community and is a true believer in girl power! Lori gave her life to Jesus Christ as a freshman in high school and she loves encouraging people with His all-powerful word. Her favorite Scripture is Proverbs 3:5-7. This is Lori’s first children’s book.
Reginald Byers has been illustrating comic books and children’s books since 1985. He is an art teacher and creator of www.KidBuildStudios.com. He is currently working on Kidz of the King; Jam Quacky, the Hip-Hop Duck; and God-Man, The Illustrated Gospel of Jesus Christ. Reginald lives in Philadelphia with his wife Dionne and their daughters.
