Once we are married, our lives will never be the same, for we were once two, but through the mystery of an awesome God, we have become one. Let us honor the vows we have made before God and man. Let us cherish the love that brought us to our wedding day. Let us promise to always be faithful to one another with a forgiving heart full of love, trust, and total commitment.
In this short little journey, you’ll read several nuggets about marriage—the meaning of marriage, advice that can help your marriage, and words of wisdom that will help you and your spouse. I received these marriage nuggets from some very special women in my life who have been a blessing in my marriage. Each nugget includes a foundational principle for having a beautiful and prosperous marriage. I pray that these nuggets will be a blessing to each and every reader (both newlyweds and those who have been married for several years) as he or she applies this information in his or her marriage.
I pray you find something in this book that will be a great blessing to your marriage. I know there is power in the Word of God, and anytime you apply the Word of God to any issue you may have in a marriage, include it in your prayer, and watch God change things in His timing. Remember that God is faithful to that which He has promised.

It seems as though so many marriages today are in trouble, with couples feeling as though they have nowhere to turn for help. Instead of seeking God for an answer or even communicating with one another, they look in all the wrong places—and sometimes get themselves involved in outside relationship. Caldwell uses short passages from the Bible and her own inspirational words to encourage couples to work on their marriage. Sometimes just taking a good look within can bring a couple closer together. And being able to apologize and ask for forgiveness can save a marriage.

About the Author
Alfreda Marie Caldwell has served at several churches. She has also taught young women and wives how to avoid negativity in marriage and how to celebrate the gifts God provided them through their marriage. She and her husband, Luvorn Caldwell, have eight children and eleven grandchildren.
