We as people do all we can to avoid trouble, even though it is an inescapable part of life. Trouble, trials and tribulations catch us unaware, but yet, we are shocked and surprised when we go through the fiery trials. Rest assured that we are told that in this world we will have tribulation, so it’s definitely coming. Be encouraged, because God has not left you alone and will bring victory through your adversity.
Regardless of where you are and what you’re doing when trouble strikes, stand firm, knowing that trouble is everywhere. As busy as you may be trying to fix your problems, know that God is at work on your behalf. Knowing that it is through your trials that the Lord is maturing you. If the Lord has given you comfort by knowing His promises, why do you find it difficult to trust in him?

About the Book
The Successful Suffering series is a guide to dealing with life's challenges in a way that is pleasing to God. God promised that there would be trials and tribulation, but He also gave us the faith to believe His word and the grace to endure. This workbook is designed as a companion to the book, Successful Suffering Part One, from fear to faith. These questions and reflections will challenge you to go deeper into God's word and in your own spiritual walk.
About the Author
Shelli Lynn Ross was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and holds a BA in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in biomedical engineering. As a child, God laid on her heart a desire to be an engineer and work with people with disabilities, never imagining she would one day be disabled. She was an active teenager when she was diagnosed with MS. Despite what the disease has done to her physically, more than twenty years after her diagnosis, Shelli sees her MS as a gift from God, through which she can encourage others going through difficulties.
