About the Author

Soccer is woven into the fabric of my life. For over 40 years I have been playing, coaching, refereeing, and cheering. Soccer began for me on the field at the age of five and hasn’t slowed down having played in high school, college, semi-professional and on throughout most of my adult life. My wife and I have three kids that play soccer, so the sport continues to be a blessing. Soccer is for Me is the next generation of a book that my dad wrote in 1978 wherein I was the main character. Our daughter Meghan is an ideal subject for this modern version of Soccer is for Me as she has a wonderfully healthy attitude about having fun, trying hard and enjoying the sport. Come join our team!
