About the Author
Just months after receiving her bachelor’s degree in biblical studies at Luther Rice Seminary, Libby Beasley-Perdue lost her husband of twenty-two years to cancer. After a time of mourning, she went on to earn a master’s degree in biblical counseling. Because of her education, counseling training, and life experiences, she felt she was ready to write this novel. More than that, she felt compelled to write a story that included a Christian counseling process, one that could possibly help one of her readers. Mrs. Beasley-Perdue lives in Cartersville, Georgia. After meeting a widower at her church who had lost his wife to cancer, they were married in 2005. She has two daughters and four grandchildren. Her numerous ministries include being a Sunday school teacher for young women, teaching a weekly Bible study at a local homeless shelter, grading Bible lessons for Source of Light Ministries, working part time for her church, and doing all the things wives and mothers do. Libby Beasley-Perdue believes the Lord Jesus led her through the whole process of writing this book, and it is a testimony to His grace and goodness.
