The first thing I did when I got home was what the doctor had told me to do. I made my MRI appointment and then scheduled my blood work for nine the following Monday morning. I wanted Joshua to know what happened at the eye doctor appointment. He sounded worried, but he seemed happy that I was finding out why I was having all the headaches and other symptoms. Again, I joked with him and said it was because “Mama has a brain tumor.”
When the MRI scan was over, the nurse walked back into the room with a look of serious disappointment on her face. She said, “I hope you feel better soon,” and gave me a big, warm hug. I knew in my heart that it was my time for God to use me for his glory.
After my busy morning of running errands, Dr. Carlson called me on the phone. I heard compassion in his voice when he asked if I would call Joshua and if the two of us would meet with him as soon as possible at his office. I said, “Sure. No problem,” with my perky, cheerful voice. I called Joshua and asked if he could meet me at Dr. Carlson’s office. He asked if the doctor had said anything about my MRI. I said no. But I had already been blessed by God telling me in his own way. I knew what was going on and what was about to happen.

God’s love, wisdom, and guidance helped Dr. Byrnes and his team during that small season of uncertainty.
Stephanie also shares a difficult time of hardship in which she’s acknowledge putting her life in her own hands, which leads to hidden anxieties and profound depression. Stephanie doesn’t give up; she continues to give praises to God for His guidance, patience, and understanding during those times of need. She’s been tested by Satan and forgiven by God. Stephanie’s now on the right pathway to victory.
