Everyone deals with tragedy, disappointment, broken relationships, and pain at some point. It is all part of being human and letting ourselves feel. The important thing is how we deal with the negatives that find their way into our lives.

When her father, sister, and younger brother are killed in a car accident, twenty-two-year-old Alyse is left to raise her newborn niece. In the blink of an eye, Alyse’s once-stable life is completely changed, and she finds herself saddled with doubts and insecurity about her ability to raise the baby, Grace. When Devon, her boyfriend, proposes, she must decide if she can leave her family home and its memories behind and begin anew with him elsewhere.

As Alyse makes a life with Grace and opens herself to love, she rises above the tragedy to a new life. Follow Alyse’s journey as she struggles through pain to find the true healing and peace that are only found through faith.

A. D. Hulstrom has dreamed of being an author since she was a teenager, and she is now making those dreams a reality. She and her husband live in California with their two children and two guinea pigs.
