Stepping Into Sarah's Shoes

Regardless of the outcome of your fertility struggles, it is important to realize we should serve God unconditionally. We are called to trust him and serve him in spirit and in truth. We are not all called to be biological parents. The bible also tells us that we do not always receive what we ask for because sometimes we ask with a wrong motive, James 4:3. Our hearts must be in the right place.

I pray that we all come to a place in our spiritual lives that regardless of the outcome of our prayer request, our faith is increased and strengthened just because of who God is. His grace is sufficient for you and me. Even Jesus prayed in Luke 22:42 “…Father if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done”.

I believe in the power of prayer, and that God answers all our prayers in his own timing. His answer may not necessarily be the one we want to hear and sometimes we deliberately ignore God’s response for this reason. I also believe God has placed doctors and other professionals in our midst for a purpose. He blessed them with specific talent. He will use them to facilitate our healing, when it suits his purpose, and to provide the appropriate treatment so that his name may be glorified.
