I hid all my toys when Angus came over for a play date. I even hid the bones
and treats I saved. Mom said I was not being nice when I hid my things. "But,
Mom" I said, "Angus is mean to me. When I visit his house he growls and shows
his mean teeth if I go near his toys. He even tried to bite me when I sniffed his
bone."
"Annie," Mom asked, "Did it make you sad and angry when he was mean to
you?" "Uh huh, it did." I answered. "If you treat him lovingly you will be showing
him the right way to treat others. When you treat him this way he will like how it
feels and will start treating others the same way." Mom said.
I will try very hard to treat Angus and my other friends like I want them to treat
me. "Mom, will you help me fmd my red ball? I can't remember where I hid it
from Angus."
"Yes," said mom. "I will help you find it Annie. Next time Angus comes to
play you can share it with him."
