The Holy Spirit directs our thoughts, actions and lives so that we become more like Christ. We receive the fruit of the Spirit, nine attributes that define our lives as Christians. As we strengthen our Christian beliefs, the fruit of the Spirit grows within us. We will never completely overcome our sinful nature as human beings. About the Book
Harvest the Fruit of the Spirit is a weekly devotional that covers the nine characteristics that we receive from the Holy Spirit when we ask Jesus Christ to lead our lives. Each week begins with a Scripture reading from the English Standard Version Bible that is applicable to the fruit for that week. A discussion covering the Scripture reading is then followed by areas to focus on to live a life as Christ calls us. As you continue your weekly journey over the course of the year, I pray that you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and produce abundant, everlasting fruit in your life and the lives of others. About the Author
Dustin Beenken accepted Jesus Christ at a young age. He has been an accountant since 1999. The more successful he was in his career, the more he felt like something was missing in his life. At the end of 2014, Dustin decided to take a break from his accounting career to rededicate his life to Christ. Dustin felt called by the Holy Spirit to share his faith with others by writing a devotional book. While writing Harvest the Fruit of the Spirit, he has felt more complete than ever. Harvest the Fruit of the Spirit has profoundly transformed his life. He prays that the book will have a similar impact on its readers. Dustin and his wife, Rachel, live in Waukee, Iowa.
