Introduction
Today let us begin our study of the Antichrist, the wicked one who will be the total embodiment of all human wickedness and the terrible manifestation of all satanic blasphemous powers. What God has been pleased to make known concerning the Antichrist is not revealed in order to satisfy our carnal curiosity, but it is of great importance to our spiritual life. The deeper we carry our studies of the Pseudo-Christ, the more surprised we are of the prominent place in the Word of God that is given to the study of the Antichrist, that wicked one who is shortly to appear on the scene of time and take the government of this sin-cursed world upon his shoulders. That day, the Antichrist, the incarnation of Satan, will walk across the stage of human history, and his appearing will be a most appalling and momentous subject. He is going to be the culmination, consummation, and crowning glory of Satan’s handiwork. He will tower far higher above all the sons of Belial (Deuteronomy 13:13) and be Satan’s masterpiece—the exact opposite of Jesus Christ. Soon and very soon, he will appear!
Now before that man of sin is revealed, what is going to take place? There is going to be the Rapture, that moment when the Lord shall appear. What a great getting-up morning that will be when all the church is taken out of this world. Until then, what shall we do? “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

About the Author
Don W. Reed graduated from Welch College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1968. In 1969 he married his wife, Jackie Hunsinger, and they have two children, Cynthia Reed Hamilton and Nick Wilson Reed. They have been blessed with six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. They reside in Warner Robins, Georgia and are active in Second Baptist Church.
