As Mother tucked Mason into bed he said, “Mommy, will you sing to me?”
Mother smiled. “Yes, Mason. I’ll sing to you. Do you want to be my happy sun too?”
With a twinkle in his eye he said, “No, I want to be your moon!”
“You need someone to make you happy when our sunny girl is asleep.”
“Yes,” she said, “I think you are right.” The twinkle in Mother’s eye looked just like the twinkle in Mason’s eye. She began to sing…
