About the Book

Jesus speaks to all of us through the Holy Spirit.  He speaks to all of us in different ways.  About a year ago, He started speaking to me through poetry.  Many of these poems speak about improvements I need to make in my own life, with my husband, children, or other areas.   These poems are overflowing with the love and teaching Jesus has for us and reminders of what we all need to do to stay closer to Him.  Jesus told me to share these poems with you so that you would learn from them and grow in your love for our Lord.  We have such a loving God.  I give all glory, honor, and praise to him.  I hope you enjoy this first collection.  I want to thank my husband, Eric, for his loving guidance, knowledge, insight, added faith, and encouragement for this book.  But most of all, I want to thank him for showing me the way to everlasting life and for teaching me what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus and to have a recreated spirit.

About the Author

Donna began hearing from the Lord shortly after becoming born again in December of 2011. Jesus began giving her and her husband Eric instructions and guidance on how to live and act in certain situations. He started putting poems in her spirit. She began writing them down. She had never been a poet, although she always excelled in English and found it to be one of her favorite subjects. She believes with all her heart that through the Holy Spirit, Jesus speaks to her through these poems so that they may be shared with others. Many of these poems deal with personal situations going on in their lives at that time. Jesus spoke to her and told her to publish a book when she had thirty poems finished. She is following His instructions and His calling upon her life. She believes we all are given gifts from God and the gift of poetry is one of hers. She hopes all who read this will find their special gifts from God and use them to serve Him and others.
